Sacred Lord Shiva mala
A sacred Lord Shiva mala focused on protection, renewal, and overcoming fear.
About the mala
The Maha Mrityunjaya Mala is a sacred Rudraksha combination inspired by the powerful Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra of Lord Shiva. It brings together Rudraksha from 2 Mukhi to 19 Mukhi, along with Ganesh and Gaurishankar Rudraksha.
The mala is traditionally associated with protection, renewal, overcoming fear and deepening your connection with Lord Shiva.
These are traditional spiritual associations, described the way they have been handed down. They are not claims about results, and a Rudraksha mala is never a substitute for medical care or professional advice.
“Wear it with faith, care and a clear intention. Your mala becomes part of your daily routine.”
Arun Valley origin, A+ Grade Rudraksha.
Best suited to experienced devotees and practitioners who want to deepen their Lord Shiva worship and Rudraksha Sadhana. It is particularly suited to those ready to work with higher Mukhi Rudraksha.
Choose your size
The combination stays the same in every size. What changes is the size of the beads, the length of the mala and how it feels to wear.

Collector
Natural Rudraksha varies in shape and size, so these are a practical guide. The final specification is confirmed with you before anything is made.
The most commonly chosen size. Comfortable under clothing and light enough to forget you are wearing it.
Chosen when you want the beads to be clearly visible while still wearing the mala every day.
Noticeably heavier. Often kept for pooja, festivals and special occasions rather than continuous wear.
Assembled only when suitable beads are available. Lead time depends entirely on what we can source.
The mala itself
This is a photograph of an actual Maha Mrityunjaya Mala we prepared, not a stock image. The beads are selected one by one, cleansed and strung in the traditional order for this combination.
Because every bead is a natural seed, no two malas are identical. Yours will differ slightly in surface, colour and size, and we send you photographs of the actual beads before the mala is strung.
The rest of the range
Each mala is made the same way and with the same care. What changes is the combination of Rudraksha inside it, and the purpose it is traditionally worn for.
A complete Rudraksha mala for building a strong foundation in spiritual practice.
02A powerful Rudraksha mala focused on courage, stability, and staying calm and focused.
03A unique Ganesh-focused mala for success, removing obstacles, and staying connected with Lord Ganesha.
04A balanced Rudraksha mala focused on clarity, better decisions, and protection from confusion.
From bead to mala
Every Maha Mrityunjaya Mala goes through the same four stages before it reaches the wearer, and the final design is settled with you first.
Beads are chosen by mukhi, size, shape, quality and the purpose of the mala. Nothing is picked at random, and we tell you honestly when a bead is not available.
The selected beads are gently cleaned and prepared before any stringing begins.
Certification is arranged where required, so you have a written record of the Rudraksha used in your mala.
The mala is strung on your chosen thread, silver chain or silver work, then checked bead by bead before it leaves us.
Significant Rudraksha
Every Rudraksha seed carries natural lines running from the top of the bead to the bottom. Each line is a mukhi, a face. Count them and you have the type of the bead, and the whole logic of a Siddha Mala rests on that.
A naturally joined bead in which one of the two parts carries a single face. Because a round one mukhi is extremely rare, the Savar is the form traditionally used in a Siddha Mala. Associated with spiritual focus and clarity of mind.
2 MukhiTraditionally associated with harmony, understanding between people and emotional balance.
3 MukhiAssociated with confidence, fresh energy and moving on from the weight of past mistakes.
4 MukhiTraditionally linked with study, learning and clear communication. Often chosen by students and teachers.
5 MukhiThe most widely worn Rudraksha of all, and the bead that usually forms the body of the mala. Associated with calmness and regular spiritual practice.
6 MukhiAssociated with discipline, steady concentration and the ability to finish what has been started.
7 MukhiTraditionally connected with stability and steady progress in work and household matters.
8 MukhiAssociated with new beginnings and with clearing obstacles at the start of any undertaking.
9 MukhiTraditionally worn for courage, inner strength and steadiness during a difficult period.
10 MukhiAssociated with balance, calm surroundings and a settled state of mind.
11 MukhiTraditionally connected with devotion, self-control and the strength to keep a commitment.
12 MukhiAssociated with clarity, confidence and the ability to carry responsibility in front of others.
13 MukhiTraditionally related to warmth in dealings with people and to fulfilment in everyday life.
14 MukhiHeld in high regard in the tradition and associated with intuition and sound judgement in difficult decisions.
GaneshIdentified by a natural raised formation on the surface of the bead. Traditionally included at the beginning of a mala and associated with the removal of obstacles.
Gauri ShankarTwo Rudraksha beads joined naturally on the tree, never cut or fixed together. Traditionally chosen for harmony, family peace and spiritual union.
Rudri Pooja
For many devotees, energization is an important final step before wearing a Maha Mrityunjaya Mala. It is a traditional way of beginning with respect, prayer and a clear intention, and it is entirely optional.
If you would prefer the pooja performed by your family priest or at your own temple, we simply hand the mala over clean and unenergized. Energization gives spiritual meaning to the moment you begin wearing your mala. It is a personal devotional practice, not a promise of any guaranteed result.
Taking care of your mala
Natural Rudraksha needs gentle and regular care. Follow these simple steps to keep your Maha Mrityunjaya Mala clean and comfortable to wear.
Wipe it with a soft dry cloth after use. Avoid soap, chemicals, perfume and strong cleaning products.
Do not leave it in direct strong sunlight for long periods. Remove it before swimming or using chemical water.
Store it in a clean, dry place when not wearing it. Check the thread, silver links or clasp from time to time.
Questions
Answered the way we would answer them in the shop, including the questions where the honest answer is “it depends”.
A Siddha Mala is traditionally described as a complete Rudraksha mala. It brings together Rudraksha beads from 1 Mukhi Savar to 14 Mukhi, along with Ganesh Rudraksha and Gauri Shankar Rudraksha, in one mala. It is traditionally worn by students, professionals, business people and spiritual seekers as part of their daily spiritual practice.
A Siddha Mala can be worn by people from different walks of life. Many people choose it for prayer, meditation, study, work or everyday spiritual practice. Traditionally, the different Rudraksha beads are associated with qualities such as focus, confidence, emotional balance, stability and spiritual growth. These are traditional beliefs and should not be understood as guaranteed results.
The standard combination has 16 principal beads: one each from 1 Mukhi to 14 Mukhi, plus Ganesh Rudraksha and Gauri Shankar Rudraksha. These principal beads are usually combined with supporting 5 Mukhi Rudraksha beads. The exact combination can vary according to the tradition and the mala being prepared.
At Hari Rudraksha Traders, the mala is prepared through several steps. First, the Rudraksha beads are carefully selected according to their mukhi, size, shape and quality. The selected beads are then cleaned and prepared, certification can be arranged when required, and finally the mala is woven using the customer preferred thread, silver chain or silver work. Each mala is checked before it is sent to the customer.
The right Siddha Mala depends on your purpose, preferred bead size, comfort and how you plan to wear it. Hari Rudraksha Traders offers Regular, Medium, Large and Collector sizes, with options for thread, silver work, bead combinations, certification and energization. Since Rudraksha is a natural seed, every bead is slightly different. You can contact us and discuss your requirement before the mala is prepared.
“Still have a question? You can contact Hari Rudraksha Traders directly. We will help you understand the Rudraksha, available options and the most suitable mala for your requirement.”
